Fort Lauderdale for Winter Fun
I’m already looking forward to our annual winter vacation in Fort Lauderdale, FL. It has been a particularly difficult year with all the economic ups and downs and all that has come with them. We haven’t been able to take a break from the business all summer. With everything being as slow as it is we had to do most of the work ourselves this summer to get some pay roll expense relief and we are beginning to get burned out on all the hours ad work we have been putting in.
Fortunately business has been picking up recently and we may be turning the corner and be able to hire some help back into working with us. Nonetheless even if we end up having to close for a week this winter we will be going to Florida.
I really love Fort Lauderdale of all the places my partner and I have visited when going to Florida over the years we have found Fort Lauderdale suites our tastes best. We really enjoy the friendly laid-back atmosphere there. The quiet beaches and we have an established rapport with some of the staff at the Fort Lauderdale luxury hotels we always stay at. We look forward to seeing them every year.
Our visit to Fort Lauderdale includes little else other than sunning on the beach, some golf and catching up on reading that we never get to during the year. The break from the cold and cloudy northern winter is such a welcomed change of pace that we don’t like to miss a minute of time on the beach. To some we must look like a couple of boring old men, but we like out quiet and relaxing vacation. There will be enough excitement waiting for us on our return home and to the business.
The plans are made and I am feeling relieved just knowing we will be going and that we agreed on closing if necessary to get our time away. We have never closed before, but there is a first time for everything.
